The bed was really comfy! I was using the hotel on a business trip so was very tired at night and managed to get a decent nights sleep. Also the lady who served the coffee and tea in the morning was very pleasant and always had a smile for us.
The bathroom had a slightly musty smell, that although not over powering was a little unpleasant
i liked shopping and the pier.
It is not worth for money you pay there.
Room was very congested and suffocating. Please check out for any other hotel. May be hotel Albien can be preferred.
The room with it's view
I did not like the cleaning staff knocking at my door at 9:30 in the morning on the day of departure. I think this practice is very poor and so easly changed.
Very good location for shops and beach
Basic hotel, not at all like website pictures. Room was fair. Bathroom was poor, no fan, bin lid broken and water pouring out of side of shower head!
Light, clean room, newly decorated. Very comfy bed. Good breakfast buffet and staff were really nice. Handy position, very close to seafront but without the noise from nightlife, and handy for town.
The location was ideal . The staff were more than helpful . Two guys that worked on the main reception were extremely pleasant .
My only complaint was in the evening we had no hot water and after waiting for it to be fixed which made us late . We still hAd no water and had to use a another room to shower in .
The location was excellent, 2 mins walk from Brighton pier and 5 mins from town centre. Would stay again but only for the location and price
The rooms were very basic. The continental breakfast was very poor and they didn't have a good choice of hot drinks, tea or coffee, nos speciality teas
The room had a lack of information, no phone book, no details of where to go/eat in Brighton. The windows rattled all night. The toilet seat had a huge rip in it.
Location near sea front but far enough away to be quiet. Weather was fantastic. Most staff seemed friendly and helpful but at least one lady on breakfast seemed very negative.
Disappointed at lack of fridge in room, minimal channels on the tv, a lot of marks on the carpet which should have been removed. No maps of town in reception. Shower would not drain quickly so risk of flooding. Overall I felt the suite was expensive but none of these are serious and the ambience with my friend was great!!. When breakfast is busy you never had enogh food on the buffet so we were always waiting for more croissants or cold meat etc. I think for the money you have to consider those extra items. I am happy to recommend hotel but doubt I would return as £155 per night is not cheap in what is essentially an upmarket b and b and that is a compliment as I think it has been done well.
It was close to most amenities and the staff were very helpful
We had one of the rooms downstairs which was ok, but the bed was very uncomfortable and it was extremely noisy from quite early in the morning as were under the dining room and we could hear every footstep.
There was the option of using the spa facilities.Excellent location and super breakfast.
The staff seemed very competent and willing to help. Everything was clean. Nice room. Good bed. Should be for that price though. Good service at breakfast.
The showerhead was terrible. There was absolutely no power on it. It was actually not possible to wash our long hair. It would have taken hours. If there is no power on the water, they should put a showerhead on that increases the power. We booked the room, because it said it had view over the Brighton Pier. It did.. from a sidewindow. So you had to sit righ by the window to see the ocean and the Pier. That was pretty disapointing. Cause that's why we payed so much for the room. To have oceanview. And the pictures nade it look that way. But pictures can cheat. So if you're going for Oceanview, book another hotel. If you don't care about that, this hotel is fine...
Ihotel was close to shopping and beach located in popular area
The towels were not change for 2 days. Mirror and basen are located in very dark corner of the room with no lights there, so it is hard to shave or put make up on. No bathroom just toalet and shower room. TV small and far from bed that u can't really watch it
It was all very good would defo stay again
